Le riz...The rice

Dans la campagne aux alentours d'Ubud, les rizières se succèdent...Je trouve extrêmement ingénieux ce principe de culture en escaliers, qui outre son efficacité pour la circulation de l'eau, offre aux yeux du visiteurs une vision peu commune des champs. A propos de riz, l'Indonésie est le 3ème producteur derrière la Chine et L'inde avec 54 millions de tonnes ( 9% de la production mondiale ). Malgré tout l'Indonésie est obligée d'importer du riz!
